AUSTRALIAN TIMESHARES

WE'RE BACK from our trip "down under" and ready to report on our timeshare experiences.

For the first week, we had the pleasure of great accommodations at the Cairns Outrigger, a Fairfield affiliate. The Outrigger is located just across the street from the pier in downtown Cairns, where the Coral Sea meets Northern Queensland. The resort has a delightful outdoor pool and spa and there are many local restaurants within walking distance--and oh yes, a casino just around the corner!

For the next two weeks we toured New Zealand by car--no time for timeshare stops here, but scenery beyond compare! And beautiful weather 99% of the time.

On week four we checked into The PortSea Resort in Port Douglas, Queensland, for our last week in Australia. The PortSea is located just a short distance from downtown Port Douglas; and again, our accommodations were outstanding, with palm trees overhanging our third-story balcony and a cafe adjacent to the pool and spa.

The weather in September and October is perfect for a visit to this lush, tropical part of Australia, known for its famous coral reefs and tropical forests.
