Hi Penny. My sister in law said she recently sold her Wyndham timeshare through a company in Las Vegas called TRA. they have a website http://www.tralasvegas.com and I was looking to rent my Wyndham timeshare. What price would you recommend for renting? Thank you for your help. I do not want to cut myself short because we could use the extra money right now.

Hi Dorothy:
Wyndham has changed the rules again recently regarding Wyndham points rentals. At this point, unless they change their minds, no Wyndham points rentals will be allowed after March 1, 2009. You will not be able to transfer points from one account to another.

And if you make a reservation for a guest, the Guest Certificate fee has been raised quite a bit.

If you are not already a member of the Wyndham Groups, you need to join to keep up with the latest news from Wyndham.

You can find them here:
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Wyndham_Fairfield_Timeshare_Owners/

And here: http://forums.atozed.com/

Many, many Wyndham Owners are very upset about these new restrictions; and Wyndham may have to think again about their new rules.
