With the recent passage of the healthcare bill, I decided to research how tax breaks promised to small businesses would impact online sellers. The answers were not difficult to find on the IRS website, but they did disappoint. Some readers may benefit, but I'm certain many others will not. Take a look at my article in today's issue to see if you will be benefit from this particular provision of the healthcare bill.
Also in today's issue, Lissa McGrath talks to Kael Goodman of ESellerAds to learn about his company's tool that helps Etsy sellers market their listings; Michele Alice writes a fun piece on the collectibility of license plates; and readers share their thoughts in Letters from Readers and First Item Sold Online.

Quote of the Day:
"If it be asked, What is the most sacred duty and the greatest source of our security in a Republic? The answer would be, An inviolable respect for the Constitution and Laws -- the first growing out of the last. ... A sacred respect for the constitutional law is the vital principle, the sustaining energy of a free government." --Alexander Hamilton, Essay in the American Daily Advertiser, 1794
